With the format wars over more computer makers are jumping onto the HD movie bandwagon. The latest system form Dell to get a Blu-ray update for its DVD player is the Inspiron 1525. The 1525 is a 15-inch screen notebook capable of 720p resolution and it includes an HDMI output for playing on a big screen TV.

Dell is now offering the system with a Blu-ray player starting at $879. The Blu-ray player can also burn normal DVDs and CDs. Several color options are available for the system including yellow, blue, and red.

The notebook features Broadcom Media PC technology that allows systems with integrated graphics to play demanding Blu-ray titles. This is the cheapest Blu-ray capable notebook I have seen.
