Digitimes reports that Lite-On is supposedly developing a Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360. The BD-Rom drive would be built-in.
It is April Fools' Day, but I do not know if that is popular in Taiwan. Microsoft said that they have no Blu-ray plans for the Xbox 360 a couple of weeks ago.
In my opinion Microsoft has no choice. It has to integrate Blu-ray into the Xbox 360 to compete with the Sony PS3.
