Nokia announced the new Nokia 5000 with a price point interesting for emerging markets.
The Nokia 5000 costs under 90 Euro (~$141) and features a 1.3MP camera, large screen with QVGA resolution, MP3 player, FM radio, Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, Bluetooth, and GPRS connectivityThe Nokia 5000 is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter of 2008. Nokia announced the 5000 at the Growing Together 2008 conference held today in Johannesburg, South Africa.
