Nokia announces a new affordable Prism phone. The Nokia 7070 Prism sells for only 50 Euro (~$78) before subsidies and taxes.
The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism, Nokia introduced earlier this year has a much higher price point. Taking the Prism design to lower cost phones is a bit dangerous and might dilute the Nokia Prism phones for high-end consumers.
The Nokia 7070 Prism offers personalized content, including themes and wallpapers, and MP3-grade ringtones. Other features of the 7070 Prism include voice recorder and integrated hands-free speaker.
The Nokia 7070 Prism is expected to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2008.
