Sprint and Samsung announced with big fanfare the potential iPhone killer Samsung Instinct touchscreen smartphone at the CTIA 2008.
Sprint launched a dedicated site dubbed NowIsGood to feature the Samsung Instinct Phone. On the site you find the big feature highlights of the Instinct like touchscreen, 3G internet, GPS navigation and live TV as well as the technical specifications of the phone.
You can subscribe to be notified when the Samsung Instinct is available from Sprint. Currently the site says June.
By June though I expect to see Apple releasing a 3G iPhone, taking the thunder out of Instinct right away and it will only be able to compete on price.
The iPhone SDK will ship in June. Timing would be ideal to release a 3G iPhone along with that. If Sprint was able to sell the Instinct now, it would have a chance of selling quite well.
