Keeping your processor and video cards inside your computer cool is the most important thing when you are overclocking them for better performance. Asetek is a maker of popular liquid cooling gear and today it announced its latest product for cooling the newest performance cards from NVIDIA.
The Liquid cooling solution is designed to work with NVIDIA’s new 9800 GTX and 9800 GX2 video cards. Asetek claims its solution is the first liquid cooling system that meets the OEM thermal, noise and reliability requirements.
The device cools the GPU with a liquid chilled plate and the RAM and power subsystems are cooled by forced air. The system promises to reduce the GPU temperature by over 25 degrees compared to air cooling alone. Pricing information isn’t offered at this time.
