We reported a couple hours ago that today at 11 PST Amazon will sell 1,000 Xbox 360 Core consoles for $100 each. The Amazon Customers Vote deal has to be purchased in a special way though.
Update:
The 1,000 Xbox 360 on Amazon.com sold out in 60s
Amazon has setup a procedure to sell the 1,000 Xbox 360 Core consoles and you must follow it to get in on this one time deal.
You have to start from the Customers Vote homepage and not from the Xbox 360 Core product page.
Once the deal is available (11am PST) there should be a Get This deal button. Then you have to sign-in. I assume everyone on this planet has an Amazon.com account. In the unlikely case you do not have one you should sign-up well before 11am PST.
After you signed in you should get a claim code issued. You get asked a simple question on this screen, I guess just to verify you are a human. This is the critical moment. If you got a claim code you are at your goal basically.
You then just follow the instructions to check-out and complete your purchase without stress. Read the complete Customer Vote instructions on the Amazon.com site complete with screen shots for you to memorize the whole process. I assume it will take only seconds until all 1,000 Xbox 360 consoles are gone. There is no room for error.
