3/31/2001 09:40:33 AM Keykatcher

The computer monitoring device, known as "KEYKatcher-32K," is an interesting way to monitor computer activities. In order to monitor computer users activities, the KEYKatcher-32K is plugged in at the rear of the computer in line with the keyboard cable. The KEYKatcher-32K is accessed using a the keyboard through any text editor by typing a special code to switch to a communication mode with the little plug - very neat idea to communicate with a device.

3/27/2001 11:09:15 AM Spectronic Sidetouch Multimedia Telephone
just in time for Cebit, the world’s biggest telecom exhibition, Spectronic will market a multimedia telephone with a built-in digital camera, fax function, Internet browser for Web and WAP, e-mail function for speech, pictures as well as written messages, loudspeaking handsfree, etc

New e-mail and fax messages or memos are written and edited with the word-processing programme and the Sidetouch system. The one-hand performance simplifies use. The Multimedia Telephone has an intelligent electronic library for e-mail, faxes, pictures, sounds, phone numbers, and notes. The telephone shows a chronological summary of all events, e.g. meetings, phone conversations, e-mail, fax messages, pictures and audio files. By marking an event, for example a picture, an e-mail message or a fax message, the content will be shown immediately.

There is no need for sorting written, sent or received information. When you wish to use previous information, you will find it under the heading, the date and the name, all automatically sorted. Information synchronization can be performed against Microsoft Outlook. http://www.spectronic.se/

3/21/2001 04:45:25 AM Atek Super Mini Optical Mouse

I got a one of those from Atek to review it. I started to use it yesterday on a brand new Dell Inspiron 8000. The first impression is very good. It is featuring a USB port. Windows 2000 immediatly recognized the thumb big mouse. Initially it really feels more ergonomic and easier to use than the touch pad. Its optical so it does not matter on which surface you use it. You can use it even on the palm rest on the notebook itself. Its very small but its still possible to use the left and right mouse button without getting fumbly. I will use it over the next 2 weeks and will post a more detailed review.
Its retailing for 49.95USD.

Futurelooks.com writes:
We weren't able to get a hold of one of these really expensive little phones long enough to do a review. However, we did get a hold of one long enough to dismantle it into a billion pieces though. Here's a clip:
"Have you ever looked at something and wondered why it was so expensive? Well, I do on a regular basis. After taking apart a Playstation 2, I decided to hunt down one of these new fangled $600 Nokia Digital Phones, and find out what’s inside"
