As already reported last August a new wireless Palm Handheld replacing the Plam VII is on its way. Based on CNET News the release of the device is happening this coming monday. The price will be around 450 USD. The device is always on to receive emails via palm.net.

Nokia launched a new subsidary to offer hand-crafted cellular phones. The price for a vertu phone is suposedly around 20,000USD. Vertu Ltd. will start selling its phones in the United States, Europe and Asia by mid-2002.

1/3/2002 08:15:54 AM New Apple PDA - iWalk, still a rumor!



Word on the net has it that Apple will announce a new color PDA next monday on the Mac World tradeshow. The iWalk features a some kind of apple OS and a very nice look and feel. No technical specifications available yet. It also could be a hoax. More pictures and and actual vidoes of the iWalk on spymac.

Google is providing very nice prepared statistics about what terms are searched on its search engine. They created a timeline of the events of 2001 and how the correspond with what people search for. Its very interesting. For instance the top searched woman is Britney Spears followed by Pam Anderson, who would have thought that. Nostradamous is leading the men statistics of 2001.
