Toshiba's New P300 Notebook Launches

Toshiba is unveiling a complete new line of notebooks today and one of the new entrants is the Satellite P300 series. The P300 features Toshiba’s new brilliant Fusion finish with Horizon pattern. The system features the new Sleep-and-Charge ports recently announced for charging USB devices.

The P300 uses a 17-inch screen and some models feature Toshiba’s REGZA LINK to make connecting the notebook via HDMI to an external display easier. The P300 line starts at $949.99 with an AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core CPU running at 2.1 GHz and 2GB of RAM. Storage is via a 250GB HDD and the notebook has a DVD burner as well.

Another version retails for $1049.99 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor, 320Gb HDD, 3GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 graphics with 256MB shared memory, 802.11a.g.n networking, and a built-in webcam.
