IronKey announced today that it has a new IronKey enterprise drive that features centralized management capabilities. The new IronKey has the same encryption built-in as the previous version. The big difference here is easy management. Administrators can created and enforce a set of policies that ensure users comply with data protection policies and the policies are downloaded directly to the IronKey drive.
"Our enterprise customers are acutely aware of the serious risks these mobile devices introduce when not protected," said Arthur Coleman, CMO at IronKey. "IronKey's combination of security applications and services along with hardware-based encryption already deliver unmatched security for USB drives. With the addition of centralized management, remote administration and policy enforcement, agencies and companies can now protect and recover these devices along with the data, and defend their owners' privacy when used online, no matter where they travel throughout the world."
