Typically off-brand HDTVs receive mediocre to poor reviews either lamenting picture quality or a high rate of failed units. One notable exception we've noticed is TV sets manufactured by TCL, which seem to consistently offer solid picture quality and reliability for bottom dollar prices.
The TCL LE55FHDF3300 55-inch 240Hz LED TV is no exception to this trend. With 4.6 stars after 14 reviews on TigerDirect, it's earned its stripes. Today it dropped to the lowest price we've ever seen it at by $100 thanks to a mail-in rebate.
$600 after rebate - TCL 55" 1080p 240Hz LED HDTVThe rebate expires December 29th, but that certainly doesn't mean the set won't sell out before then. The next cheapest we find it anywhere is for $750.
