Blu Products unveils Vivo 4.65 HD smartphone

A company called Blu Products has announced a new smartphone that will launch in the United States in January of 2013. The smartphone will be sold as an unlocked device costing $299.99 without a contract. The manufacturer says that the smartphone will be available at major US retailers and will launch in Latin America and parts of Asia later.

The smartphone has a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The screen is probably one of the best features of the smartphone. Other hardware features include 1 GB of RAM, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, support for 3G/HSPA networks, and an eight megapixel rear camera.

The smartphone supports dual SIM cards and both cards can be active and received calls at the same time. The operating system for the device is Android 4.0. The price of $299.99 is for an unlocked device that will operate on compatible networks.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
