Wireless Dance Mat fo Apple iPad waltzes into CES 2013
ION announces All-Star Dance, a lighted and wireless dance mat for iPad at the CES 2013.
All-Star Dance combines two areas where ION has continually offered innovative and unique products: gaming and iOSaccessories. It promises to do for aspiring dancers what ION's most recent innovation for iPad, All-Star Guitar, has done for guitarists: empower them with an inspired, unique, and fun way to interact with their music. And just like All-Star Guitar, All-Star Dance accomplishes this in a clean and streamlined way that complements the minimalist design of iPad-there are no messy cables or complicated setup. All-Star Dance connects wirelessly via Bluetooth technology for hours of dancing fun with many great dance games as well as a library of over 500 ION Arcade compatible games.
"This is the world's first controller for mobile dance apps," said Wendy Fortin, ION Product Manager. "People will never be bored in a waiting room again! But seriously, we're really excited to give our customers yet another way to have fun and interact with their music."
The All-Star Dance experience is not unlike having a padded touchscreen under your feet. Dancers follow the lighted pads to learn the next steps and watch the iPad's screen for fun tips and easy-to-follow instructions. The included stand holds iPad at the perfect height for viewing, and the entire system folds up in seconds to take anywhere.
The CES 2013 opens on January 8th, 2013. Most announcements will though be already revealed ahead of the CES opening in early January. Our CES 2013 coverage has already begun. Check out the latest CES 2013 News.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
