2013 is supposed to bring the next generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony. The Sony PlayStation 4 announcement could even come before the E3 2013 in June. A Sony exec told the Chilean site emol at the CES 2013 that a big announcement could come as early as May and latest at the E3 2013.
Why a Sony exec Hiroshi Sakamoto, VP of Home Entertainment make these teasing statements to a Chilean site is a bit weird. I am actually not that excited about a PS4 unless it does something completely new - like a Holodeck.
