Wi-Fi + cellular iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad hits China this Friday
Apple has officially announced that fans of the iPad in China will be able to get two new versions of the iPad this Friday. Shoppers will be able to purchase the Wi-Fi + cellular version of the iPad mini and the fourth-generation iPad on Friday. The fourth-generation of the iPad is the retina display version.
This Friday is January 18 and launch of the new tablets in China puts the iPad mini Wi-Fi + cellular and the fourth-generation iPad available in over 100 countries around the world. The iPad mini is 23% thinner and 53% lighter than the third-generation iPad and features a 7.9-inch display. The fourth-generation iPad has a 9.7-inch Retina display.
The iPad mini with Wi-Fi + cellular will be available in black and slate or white and silver colors starting at $459 for the 16 GB version, $559 for 32 GB version, and $659 for the 64 GB model. The fourth-generation iPad with Wi-Fi + cellular will be available starting at $629 the 16 GB version. The iPad 2 will be available in China $399.
