Asus WL-330NUL USB Pocket Router Tipped by Expansys

What may be the most interesting USB Wi-Fi adapter ever has turned up on Expansys for pre-order. This device is from Asus and it's called the WL-330NUL USB Pocket Router. The device gets all the power it needs to operate from the USB port on your computer.

It has integrated 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz connectivity and a single Ethernet port on the end. Once connected, the device allows you to share your hotspot access and create your own wireless networks needing nothing but this little router.

The device supports both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and measure 65 x 20 x 15 mm making it very portable. The product is listed as shipping on Thursday, February 14. It appears that the pre-order capability is more like reserving the product because it's unclear how much it costs and no charges will be made until the product is ready to ship.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
