CBS selects the 21st Century Sherlock Holmes Show Elementary to air after the Super bowl 2013.
TV networks broadcasting the Super Bowl already made it a tradition to air a TV Show right after the Super Bowl to give the show the extra visibility the Big Game generates. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has selected Elementary as the 2013 Super Bowl TV show. NBC had selected The Voice season premiere last year. Elementary is one of the most successful CBS shows, but still has potential. I never see it rank on the iTunes TV Show download charts.
Elementary, the modern day interpretation of Sherlock Holmes starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. It is coincidentally one of my favorite TV shows. It clearly got "inspired" by the UK show "Sherlock" starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Elementary is though standing on its own only sharing the basic idea of a 21st Century Sherlock.
