"It appears that the lower cost iPhone will be a 4-inch screen Retina display, plastic case, Lightning connector, but some of the componentry seems to be a little lower-end, lower NAND content, or memory [storage], lower processor capability, lower modem, but we would expect the phone to be available for China Mobile, for that TD-SCDMA market"

4.8-inch iPhone is Rumored for June Release

Since Apple's iPhone 5 sales are supposed to be not that great the rumor mills spill out how Apple is supposed to change that. First of all we still need to wait for the official iPhone sales numbers to be revealed at the Apple earnings call on Wednesday. Assuming they are below expectations it is really time to think about how Apple is going to change the iPhone. According to a rumor report on China Times, Apple is releasing a big 4.8-inch iPhone in June as well as a cheap iPhone and an upgraded iPhone 5S.

To offer three iPhone models is sure a possible iPhone roadmap. Two years ago an iPad mini was out of the question. This year multiple iPhone models might suddenly be the most magical idea Apple ever had.
