Sony has offered up new details on the Xperia Tablet Z. The tablet will run Android 4.1 and have a 10.1-inch display. The screen of the tablet uses the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 for more lifelike and realistic images. The tablet also features an 8.1-megapixel rear camera that uses an Exmor R image sensor.
Sony promises that the integrated camera has excellent lowlight performance. The tablet is also fitted with Sony's virtual surround sound technology called S- Force. Other harbor features of the tablet include near field communication technology allowing for one touch file sharing and streaming.
The tablet is 6.9 mm thick and weighs 495 g. It will be available in black or white colors and uses a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor. The tablet also supports LTE connectivity. Pricing and availability are unannounced this time.
