The Super Bowl 2013 is less than two weeks away and we are already seeing lots of Super Bowl Ad teasers. Super Bowl ads got more and more social over the past years. A Super Bowl ad without a social media campaign is basically seen as a waste of advertising dollars. The Doritos Super Bowl commercials have pioneered the complete consumer involvement, by letting you make their Super Bowl commercials. This year a large number of Super Bowl advertisers are inviting consumers to participate in their ads in one way or another.
For instance Coca-Cola lets you choose one of three endings for the final Coke Super Bowl 2013 Ad. Audi will release tomorrow three versions of their Super Bowl Ad and you decide which one will run during the Big Game. Lincoln sources content for their first Super Bowl ad via Twitter. Pepsi sources photos from fans that will appear during the Pepsi sponsored Beyonce Halftime show.
Toyota is also sourcing photos from fans for the Toyota Super Bowl 2013 Ad. Pizza Hut is even going to feature consumer video segments in their pre-game ad. Doritos still needs your help in deciding which ads will run on Super Bowl Sunday.
Last but not least, the USA Today Ad Meter needs your help too this year. You can become an online panelist to rank the Super Bowl 2013 Ads.
The most exciting social Super Bowl ads are those were you actually can appear in the Super Bowl broadcast. So go out there and participate.
