Is Mercedes winning the race for the most viral Super Bowl 2013 ad teaser? It looks like it as the sexy ad is starting to raise a big controversy. Some though seem not to understand that the Kate Upton video is not the actual Mercedes Super Bowl 2013 ad. It is a teaser.
Three days ago Merecedes-Benz released a companion video for its upcoming Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl 2013 Ad featuring Kate Upton. Mercedes-Benz took out all stops and went straight for the money with a super sexy Super Bowl ad teaser featuring Kate Upton's main assets in slow motion as she washes the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA. The Kate Upton ad video has now already over 3.3 million views on Youtube. More and more reports and comments appear that slam the ad as being to sexy for the Superbowl or for selling sexual objectification (SF Gate). This are the same arguments you can bring to all commercials that are sexy and use hot models. What about Victoria's Secret then. Anyway, important to know is that the Kate Upton Ad, you can see below is not the final Mercedes Super Bowl 2013 ad. It will be completely different. Mercedes just made with little effort a viral video. It was just too easy to pass on this opportunity to release a typical Kate Upton video and gain a ton of attention and views. The Kate Upton ad is the leading Super Bowl 2013 teaser so far. Volkswagen released their teaser ad today, but it looks like it is not going viral - at least until now.
