Samsung has unveiled a new color option for fans of the Galaxy Tab 2 tablet called Garnet Red. Other than the red color, the tablet is the same as previous versions. The tablet has a seven-inch screen and runs the Android 4.1 operating system. The red version of the tablet is a limited edition and is available for $219.99.
The tablet ships with a matching red case at no additional cost. The tablet has a dual-core processor and ships with the Smart RemoteApp and integrated IR blaster making the device Universal remote control. The tablet is able to access the Google Play store in run just about any app you can think of.
The tablet has a memory card slot supporting up to 32 GB of additional storage and weighs 0.76 pounds. These tablets have been around for a while and the special Garnet Red edition will be available while supplies last at Walmart, Amazon, Office Depot, and other retailers.
