Rumors about a low-cost iPhone have been circulating since a long time. Now yet another report claims that the budget iPhone is real despite Apple denying it. iLounge got information from a reliable source that describes the budget iPhone in detail.
The budget iPhone is supposed a plastic version of the iPhone 5. It is not all plastic and the design is supposed to be a cross between the iPhone 5, fifth-generation iPod touch, and the iPod classic. The new low-cost iPhone will have a 4-inch screen, like the iPhone 5, a bottom like the latest iPod touch, and a shape that’s most similar to the iPod classic.
Apple will need to do something with the iPhone to increase market share. If a budget iPhone is the way to go remains to be seen.
