After rumors have swirled over the last few days that Apple would be adding in the 128 GB iPad, that the tablet has now been confirmed. Apple officially announced the 128 GB version of the fourth-generation iPad with Retina display yesterday. The tablet will be available in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + cellular versions.
The tablet provides twice the storage capacity of the previous highest capacity 64 GB version. The 128 GB version of the iPad isn't yet on the Apple site. The tablet will be available to purchase on Tuesday, February 5.
The 128 GB tablet will be available in black or white colors for $799 for the Wi-Fi version. The Wi-Fi and cellular version will sell for $929. No other features of the tablet are changed.
