Coke Super Bowl 2013 Ad Called Racist

The Coke Ad is the second Super Bowl 2013 ad that is called racist. We reported that the Volkswagen Super Bowl 2013 Ad is seen by some as depicting a stereotype of Jamaicans. Now Reuters reports that an Arab-American group says that depicting an Arab walking through the desert with a camel is racist. Additionally the Arabs are not in the race between the Badlanders, Show Girls and Cowboys. I am not sure if I want to be in such a race. You can always find something offending in Super Bowl ads. In the end a controversy like this is just helping the ads to get more attention.

Coca-Cola released the first part of their Super Bowl 2013 Ad. The ending is up to you. The Coca-Cola Super Bowl 2013 Ad is titled Coke Chase. It has Cowboys, Badlanders and Show girls race through the dessert to get their hands on a Coke. Watch the Coca-Cola Super Bowl 2013 Ad below and then go to the Coke Chase site and vote for your favorite team. It think the Show Girls should win.

Once you selected your favorite team you can decide which of the two others should get sabbotaged. This a quite funny part of the whole campaign. Coca-Cola got really creative with their Super Bowl 2013 Ad. They follow the big trend of crowd involvement, but they do it in a very entertaining way.
