Gamers all around the country and all around the world have been looking forward to the promised springtime launch for the latest videogame in the Rockstar Grand Theft Auto franchise. Rockstar promised GTA V with launch in the spring of 2013. Spring will be here shortly, meaning gamers were undoubtedly excited.
Rockstar announced yesterday that it was delaying the launch of GTA V by several months. The new official launch date for the videogame is now September 17, 2013. The game will launch on that date for the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
As for why the game has been delayed, Rockstar only said that the delay was to allow additional development time. Delays are never good things for gamers, but launching a video game that's poorly done is even worse. Hopefully GTA V will be awesome when it finally launches.
