Samsung has been leaning heavily on Garnet Red versions of its existing smartphones and tablets to drum up new business recently. Previously we saw Garnet red versions of the Note 7.0 and other devices from the company. Samsung has now announced a special Garnet red version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.
Other than the Garnet red, or maroon color as most of us would call it, the tablet is exactly the same as other versions already on the market. Samsung says that the new color will appeal particularly to female college students that covet fashion items and would be a perfect special gift for Valentine's Day.
In fact, to illustrate what a good gift giving idea a red tablet is for Valentine's Day it will launch in Korea on February 14. The tablet will come to other parts the world eventually with no specific date given.
