Massive Frozen Pizza Recall Issued

If you are right now in a late night coding session and are about to get a snack, double check the packaging. It is not just frozen pizza that is recalled in a massive scale because of a possible E. coli contamination.

Beware of frozen snacks. Farm Rich Products Corporation has initiated a big recall of all products produced in their Waycross, Georgia facility. The following Farm Rich products with “Best By” dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014 are included:

Farm Rich Philly Cheese Steaks – all size
Farm Rich Mini Quesadillas – all sizes
Farm Rich Mini Pizza Slices – all sizes
Farm Rich Mozzarella Bites – all sizes
Farm Rich Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers – all sizes

Farm Rich is working closely with the USDA, FDA, CDC and the scientific community to determine how Farm Rich products made in our Waycross, Georgia plant may have become contaminated with E.Coli bacteria.

For full product details refer to the FarmRich site and USDA site.
