Ever since the Apple iWatch rumor emerged we also see reports that the iWatch would use a flexible display. Since then reports from manufacturers like Corning said that a smartwatch with flexible display is still years away.
Now a job post briefly appeared on the Apple site according to 9to5Mac that reveals that Apple is indeed working on flexible display products. The job post looks for a senior optical engineer to investigate emerging display technologies including flexible displays.
My take is that the first iWatch will not have a flexible display, but possibly the third generation.
