With federal and state rebates, Californians could pay as little as $20,500
Fiat has announced the official MSRP for outright purchase and leasing of the 2013 Fiat 500e electric vehicle. The vehicle will be launching in California with a lease option at $199 per month for 36 months. The lease requires $999 at signing and includes 12 days of rental vehicle for longer travels during the three years.
People who want to purchase can get the 500e for $32,500 including a $700 destination charge. Residents of California could also save significantly more money with the federal tax credit, state incentives, and Fiat rebates bringing the overall purchase price to $20,500 after the rebates. The purchase price of the electric version of the 500 is cheaper than the gasoline-powered version after rebates are figured in.
The vehicle is good for 87 miles per charge. People who purchased the 500e will also get 12 days of alternate transport for each year of the first three years they own the vehicle. The idea is to help remove any problems with range anxiety from the equation when shoppers are considering the 500e.
