Volkswagen has officially unveiled its latest model of the popular Beetle. The new car is expected to hit dealer showrooms in 2014 and is called the iBeetle. As you might guess from the name of the car, it's designed in conjunction with Apple and has robust connectivity with the iPhone.
The iBeetle will be offered in coupe or convertible forms and pricing is unannounced this time. Volkswagen promises that the car will come in color schemes that match the iPhone. That would seem to indicate lots of brushed aluminum and white or black exterior colors.
The big feature of the iBeetle is a special iPhone dock on the dash of the car that brings lots of connectivity with the iPhone 5 or other devices. The iPhone dock works in conjunction with a special Beetle app to bring the ability to stream music, listen to social network updates, and lots more from your iPhone using the car infotainment system.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
