Omni by Virtuix is Must Have Accessory for Oculus Rift
Twenty years ago I was a big fan of virtual reality technology. It was the time of Stephen King's Lawnmower man and William Gibson's Neuromancer. 3D Virtual Reality glasses and 3D trackers got developed by a bunch of startups and research institutes. the break through never came though. Now 20 years later VR googles make a comeback through crowd-funding. The Oculus Rift is leading the new VR wave. The 3D headset has many fans and gets positive press despite its chunky design that looks less evolved than the VR headsets I used 20 years ago.
I do not see yet that the Oculus Rift has anything new that will bring the breakthrough and make immersive 3D gaming a mainstream thing.
There is though already an interesting accessory for the Oculus Rift called Omni by Virtuix that might help. The Omni is supposed to become the first omni-directional treadmill affordable for consumers. It allows you to walk through virtual worlds without moving real-world. Together with the Oculus Rift the setup is getting closer to what Stephen King showed in Lawnmower man. Virtuix will also seek crowd-funding soon.

How to Stop iPhone 6 From Wobbling on a Table
The iPhone 6 has one big flaw. Its backside. The camera sticks out and don't get me started on these ugly antenna lines. The protruding camera lens makes the iPhone 6 wobble when put down flat on a table. Here is how to fix this without a case.
About the Geek Mind
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
