Samsung sings "S4 Samsung Style" in India

It's India's turn to welcome Samsung's flagship smartphone - the Galaxy S4. But when PSY's "Gangnam Style " starts playing, things started to become a bit weird.

Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S4 in India. The South Korean conglomerate, known for its high-level marketing tactics, opted to use the record-breaking song from fellow South Korean artist PSY. But obviously there's a problem, there's no PSY in the stage.  Instead, Samsung hired actor Ranveer Singh to do a rendition of the song.

The lyrics of the song was also altered, with lines like "S4 Samsung Style" and "If you like the S3 then this phone is even better. It has an HD screen and is just a lot slimmer." In fairness, the performance was good, and Singh sort of killed it, well kinda. Multiple news outlets from all over the web criticized Samsung for the act, but hey, as long as the folks in India are loving it, it's all fine. During its launch in New York earlier this year, Samsung came up with a Broadway-themed Galaxy S4 launch event.
