Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB model has roughly 8GB of storage space left

Oh, yes, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a very nice phone. It comes pre-loaded with apps as well, such as S Health, S Travel, ChatOn, and more. Well, as nifty as they seem, most of them are really bloatware.

Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB model has roughly 8GB of storage space left

Prospective buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S4 may want to note that the unit comes with only 65 percent of its 16GB storage available. Although the product packaging may state a certain amount of storage available to the device, it is not always a guarantee that users will be able to use the entire stated storage amount.

If you'll head over to the storage section of your Galaxy S4's settings, you will find that only 8.82GB is actually available for use. Pre-loaded apps as well as files synced during account creation will naturally deduct the available storage.

The same discrepancy can also be observed in other Android phones. Of course, users can get around the trouble of limited storage space by using microSD cards for extra storage.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
