Twitter has officially announced on Friday that API v1 is not going to retire this month. Instead it will get retired in the next month. Actually the social media giant has to do some more API blackout testing before closing its very first version of API.
Previously, Twitter had announced, 7th May 2013 to be the shut down date of both API version v1.1 and TweetDeck apps for Android and the desktop. But now the shut down date of API v1 is extended to June 11, 2013.
