Acer announces new Aspire V5 and Aspire V7 series

If you think that was enough, Acer also announced two new series - the V5 and V7 series. Available in 11.6-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch variants, the V5 series features full-size backlit keyboards, four speakers supported by Dolby Home Theatre, and next generation processors either from AMD and Intel.

Meanwhile, the new V7 ultrabook series offers the same stylish and thin design found on the V5 models, but adds a “silky touch” finish on the bottom, not to mention the latest Intel processors, solid state drives, Acer Theft Shield, the new Acer converter port and WiDi, and Intel’s Wireless Display technology.

Expect these to be available before May ends. The MSRP starts at $499.
