The US Cellular Corporation announced its report regarding revenues and other financial vital signs. It will be offering a number of products of Apple Incorporated by the end of the year 2013.
After a depletion of resources and fund shortage due to dilution in revenue generation, US Cellular turned towards new channels such as the sale of Apple products. They are due to come out in the market towards the end of this year. US Cellular has released its first quarter 2013 results on Friday. As a part of this news relased, the compnay announced that it will tsell-out Apple products by the winter months of 2013 in order to maintain a degree of customer fidelity as well as act as a client magnet. A number of schemes were in store and the plan of action was to promote smart phone distribution among the valued clientele. This growth strategy might just work for now.
No doubt, the quarterly earnings report was dismal and so US Cellular went for the obvious option to display Apple paraphernalia among its wares. The details were not published. But as they say, God is in the details. The introduction of Apple products was a promotional offer that was designed to diversify the profitable ventures of US Cellular. This is an about-face act by the company since previously it had forgone the decision to use Apple’s iPhone stating “unreasonable terms” as the alibi. The possibilities of growth in this market look promising and so US Cellular, which is at the sixth spot among the top wireless providers in the United States, has decided to go for the gold.
In what was a bipolar decision, the previous comments regarding Apple were thrown on the scrap heap and a new statement was announced in its place. Never say never again! This breakage of policy permanence has some smart “dollars and sense” thinking behind it. Sprint and T-Mobile, which occupy the 3rd and 4th slots in this great game, also took the same steps and lost a lot of customers due to their erring ways. US Cellular is not about to follow in their footsteps and so it has made a shocking U-Turn that, though damaging to self-esteem, is an earning strategy par excellence. The resultant revenues will have to wait, since only after efforts do the fruits multiply. US Cellular has made the right choice after some reluctance and indecision. But now that the deed is done, the only wise thing to do is let the process unfold in its sheer depth.
