Barnes and Noble wants to up the ante by selling, for a limited time, the Nook HD and HD+ for $149 and $179, respectively. The promo period begins today and is expected to end on Mother's Day, May 12th.

Barnes & Noble Nook HD and HD+ on sale for $149 and $179, respectively

Just days after bringing Google Play access to its Nook HD and HD+ tablets, Barnes and Noble is now announcing a limited-time offer in celebration of Mother's Day. Beginning today, the NOOK HD will be selling at $149 for the 8GB model and $179 for the 16GB variant.

On the other hand, the NOOK HD+ will be sold at $179 and $209 for the 16GB and 32GB models, respectively. This offer will end on May 12, just in time for Mother's Day.
