First Carbon Fiber Helicopter Crashes During Test Flight
Composite Helicopters International works on the first all composite frameless helicopter named KC518 made from carbon fiber and kevlar. The Carbon fiber helicopter is in the news now because it crashed during a test flight. The crash has been captured on video. Pilot Peter Maloney, who is also the President of Composite Helicopters International was able to softly crash land the KC518 on water and nobody was hurt.
