Till this moment in time, Microsoft and Google had been at war over YouTube. But according to the an official blog post, it seems they may have come to a truce of sorts. A YouTube app has been reinvented and implanted in the Windows Phone 8 by Microsoft. This step will allow all concerned to make hay while the sun shines. In former times, the app displayed little if any compatibility with Google. The situation has been resolved today and both giant organizations have called off their feud.
In fact, the brand new app has been transformed to fit in perfectly with the system of tiles on the Windows 8 platform. The accusation Microsoft had brought against Google was the non-allowance of Windows Phone 8 entry into YouTube territory. However, the clogged arteries have been cleared for now. A ton of features will be shown on the new app and users will have their leisure time packed with informative and entertaining experiences.
Visual contents as well as creative channels will be available to anyone who owns the device. There will even be a Kids Corner which will let parental guidance control the stuff children get to view. The revolutionary design of the new app will go the distance. A user may if he or she wants listen to a song in the background instead of waiting for it to be saved onto the device.
The fact that the last time YouTube was on the Windows Phone 8 it was a very poor performance had the computer freaks in a huff. The new and revised edition is an improved and intelligent change from yesterday’s cheap model. Using this version you may play a video or search for an item if you so desire. Or you can form a YouTube profile. Playlists are manageable too. Finally, sharing and email/SMS facilities will be a regular mode on this platform.
YouTube, while controversial for some of its more blasphemous and abnormal contents, is otherwise a very information-rich site that takes knowledge into the visual realm and makes it available to all irrespective of color or creed. As for Microsoft, it provides not only the solid experience of personal computers, it also lends access to a search engine (MSN) that is on a par with Yahoo and Google. That the two have made up is a source of happiness for consumers since now they will co-operate to create new stuff for their users.
