Jack Dorsey, head of Square, the mobile app company that started out small and made a big name for itself, is ready, steady and all set to go. His company has introduced the all-new Square Stand which is the first reinvention of a cash register of its kind. Pre-orders opened for just $299 starting Tuesday.
Big things come in small packages. Or at least they start as small ones. What was conceived as an inconsequential card reader went on to form an app and finally the whole series of actions culminated in the Square Stand. This process has changed the rules of the cash register and helped the company prosper.

Furthermore, any misgivings regarding Square have been dispelled with a flip of the proverbial dime. It was announced casually enough at a coffee stand near its business headquarters. The launch of Square Stand is a piece of work that defies the odds.
It is basically a stand with a swivel that merchants and businessmen can plug into using their iPads. Using a scanner they can get the results on a printer. The device works with the iPad 2 as well as the iPad 3. Just three months back in February they introduced their Business-in-a-Box package and it was a beautiful deal. In other words, the cash register has just been sexed up thanks to Square. What was an ugly technology has become like the ugly duckling a beautifully transformed thing in the end. Dorsey, the CEO of Square has a backing of $340 million and that says a lot.
Square is looking further afield. It wants mergers with Foursquare and Yelp. As for what it looks like you will have to see for yourself. The wondrous device is made of pure white streamlined plastic and is so smooth and sleek that it would give a catwalk model a run for her money. Available for a mere $300, the product is a truly aesthetic object of desire. And it is so delicately elegant that it weighs a mere five pounds. Making the contenders gasp in astonishment the moment they see it, this terrific work of high tech computer engineering is the nostrum of the future.
Cash registers have been in existence since the beginning of the industrial revolution. They are a mechanical solution to cash deposit and retrieval. But with the lumpy structure of these blocks of money storage, the aesthetic factor undergoes a downsizing that is not visually appealing. So the Square Stand has solved this problem with its magical looks. It is here so have no more cares or worries.
