Google also revealed at the opening keynote of Google I/O that Android now has 900 million activations - a giant leap from last year's 400 million. Additionally, it announced that Android has so far garnered 48 billion app downloads to date, with more than 2.5 billion downloads in the last month alone. If you'll do the math, the revenue is now 2.5 times more compared to what it was last year. Google also boasted that it now has 750 million active users on Chrome, also a huge leap from 450 million in 2012.
