LG Optimus GJ water-resistant Android phone launched
Not to be outdone with Sony's water-resistant smartphone, the Xperia Z, LG announced the IPX7-certified LG Optimus GJ in Taiwan today. Apart from the water-resistant features, the hardware specs are basically similar to LG's Optimus G. For starters, the Optimus GJ sports a 4.7-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, and it is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragonprocessor and backed with 2GB of RAM.
Other notable features include a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.3-megapixel on the front, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2,280 mAh battery. For now, the Optimus GJ will be available in Taiwan this June. The phone will set you up front with a $17,990TWD, or roughly $600, based on the current exchange rate.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
