Neonode has signed agreement with leading toys and tablets company OEM on Thursday. Neonode has given OEM a license to bring its MultiSensing Touch technology for its new children Tablet.
Neonode is Research Company specialized in multi-touch technologies. It has joined a license agreement with an OEM manufacturer as officially announced by the company on Thhursday. Under this agreement, other party will incorporate its multi-touch technology in their LCDs. The official brand name of this technology is “MultiSensing”. According to official press release, the OEM Company is one among the leaders in this field. The products with it will be available soon in market. There are only rumors in market about the packed solutions with this technology in market. They are expected to be available on retail stores in second half of year 2013. The un-disclosed signer of agreement will launch millions of tablet for kids especially with MultiSensing technology. Then we would be able to locate the actual attributes of it.

As an independent market analyst said that company has mainly focusing on toy and kids gadgets that use touch screens and adopting new trends considering the behavioral character of children. The whole purpose is to mold the complex touch trend of kids to simple object and visual translations. There are other companies too who are also using it under agreement. These are listed below;

The above listed two OEM organizations are delivering products which mainly focus on kids. This is due to the license of “MultiSensing” that company alone holds and solely claims all rights of this ultra-fast touch screens. The licensed MultiSensing technology can be used in the smartphone, tablet PCs, e-readers, toys, gaming consoles, printers, scanners, automobiles, aerodynamics systems, weather forecasting systems and office equipment.
Neonode CEO Thomas Eriksson said that their technology has much demand in market. It is different than the current market devices like Apple, Samsung and NEC. It offers many more features than traditional implementations of touch screen and LCDs and many others like given below;

- High speed scanning at 1000 MHz or more
- Low Latency Brush Sensing
- Better proximity pressure
