Microsoft Windows 8.1 Start Button Leaked

Microsoft has not yet launched Windows 8 but its screen shots are leaked already. Paul Thurrott, posted images on its blog, on Wednesday unveils the new look of the Start Button in Windows 8 start menu.

Microsoft Window 8 also called "Windows 8.1"  or "Windows Blue” is revealed before official release. A rumor of start button coming back to operation is true. The disclosed images show that start button is back with new style and theme. Microsoft Windows is known with certain common features in all operating systems like Start Button, Task Manager, and Explorer etc. It dominates the whole desktop market and takes about 90 percent plus share. Although desktop and portable market is facing decline, still innovations are on in this platform too. The traditional style start button is embedded in same was as Windows 7 with a bit different operation.

The new injection to UI is advanced. When you click on it with mouse or tap it with your finger, a window opens on full screen that lists the app and tasks in a columnar style that makes it easy for program selection. According to Paul Thurrott, company has improved the boot pattern also. The normal boot process of Window 8 is upgraded in 8.1 build. This build is not official and leaked screenshots show some predictions. The boot will take you directly to desktop which was lacking in previous version. The developer’s team is staggering between tablet look, android domination and traditional style’s acceptance in market.

Graphical User Interface is the main theme of Windows 8. Transition and wallpapers can be changed but now with new update package, it enables to choose one image for desktop wallpaper, screensaver and all transition including start menu. Still we have to wait for final stable release of Window Blue (8.1). Microsoft officially has claimed to release it in June 2013. The release is expected to be aired in San Francisco Developers Conference. It will be free for all genuine Windows 8 license holders. For the first time, company is giving something good for free after the heavy market domination of Google Android.

The rumors were about release of a new version with brand new innovations. The leak shows that there is not much change in core operating system. The package will include heavy security fixes, bug fixes, and graphical enhancements (mainly Start Button and Boot to desktop), addition of new features and probably injection of few utilities. That is all what you should expect.
