A homeless guy who has been making headlines as Evil Elmo before on Time Square when he shouted anti-semitic rants. Now Dan Sandler aka Adam Sandler has been charged for attempting to extort $2 million from Girl Scouts of the USA and stalking and harassing a Girl Scouts employee according to an announcement of the District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance.
“The defendant is accused of trying to use his widely publicized criminal history to extort millions of dollars from the Girl Scouts, a nonprofit organization that has worked to improve the lives of girls and young women for more than a century,” said District Attorney Vance. “The charges against the defendant also detail his harassment of a Girl Scout employee with dozens of threatening and bizarre emails, photos, and phonemessages.”
The New York Daily News has some more rants from Evil Elmo apparently made on the flight from San Francisco to New York for the court appointment.
There are more street performers wearing an Elmo costume in New York. Not all are "evil."

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
