The news is already in circles from previous month that Apple is going to release refreshed Mac models during the upcoming WWDC 2013 event. But it is doubted that either these will be MacBook Air models or MacBook Pro with Retina display models. But 9to5Mac today's report suggested that Apple is set to launch refresh MacBook Air models at WWDC.
The report shows that prices leaked out for SKUs of MacBook Air updated versions. These prices are related to 11" and 13" current MacBook Air models. The new MacBook Air prices shows that it will come up with three new accessories including 802.11ac WiFi chips, a new AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models. It means that these new models will have faster Wifi facility than previous ones.
The refreshed models will have new added features like a webcam of 1080p for video with a dual-microphone audio system. While it is already cleared that new models will have new Haswell processors of Intel inside. This means that by adding these new CPUs, slim and light weight Apple models will now have improved battery life.
It is also reported that besides all these added facilities, there could a smaller price cut for new models in some countries while shipment of these models is already started around the world. This means that we could see an open sale of these models just after the announcement be made at WWDC. Just 4 days are left for Apple's World Wide Developers Conference. So stay tuned and see what will come up.
