Adobe's popular photography application for Mac OS X and Windows first came in beta last April. After reportedly tweaking the software 400 times, Lightroom 5 is now more powerful and faster.
Apart from the nifty features that were included in the beta version such as Advanced Healing Brush, Upright, Radial Filter, and Smart Previews, Adobe has added slideshows that can mix video and still images, as well as an improved photo book creation.
Users can also enjoy the ability to share photos using the Behance Publish Service and an expanded range on the Radial Filter’s feather slider.
Adobe Lightroom 5 is now available for $149. Those who are already using Lightroom (the old versions) can get the new version for $79.
