Apple launches iTunes Radio Internet streaming service

Finally, after weeks of speculation, Apple's rumored Internet streaming service, then-dubbed iRadio, is here.

It's officially called iTunes Radio, and the easiest selling point here is its free service. With over 200 stations on top of Apple's catalog of music from iTunes, iTunes Radio hopes to attract more users into the fold.

Unlike other existing Internet steaming services, iTunes Radio is said to possess the ability to evolve based on the kind of music a user often plays on his or her device. Apple says that the "more you use iTunes Radio and iTunes, the more it knows what you like to listen to and the more personalized your experience becomes."

There's also access to exclusive songs from top artists via the "first listen" feature, the capability to tag or buy anything in a click, and the nifty Siri integration. iTunes Radio is expected to arrive this fall.
